My Journey — From PCOS to Passion

My Journey – From PCOS to Passion

My journey started at the age of 12, though at the time, I didn’t see it as a “journey” more like an instruction from my doctor. I was diagnosed with PCOS, and all I remember hearing was, “You need to lose weight.”

So I took that seriously. I played badminton, basketball, and ran miles on my dad’s treadmill every day after school without even changing out of my uniform. (The squeak of my school shoes on the treadmill belt was… iconic.) My commitment to taking care of my body started young, and honestly, it became a little addictive.

At 20, I moved to the UK for university. Life changed. Homesickness hit hard but that’s when my flatmate introduced me to the gym. My first week was full of aches… you know, those post-workout muscle pains that make you question all your life choices? I hated it at first. So I took a week off but slowly started to miss that pain. I missed how alive I felt after a session. That’s when I knew — this wasn’t just exercise, this was my therapy, my challenge, my joy.

Fast forward 10 years, and I’ve turned that love into something bigger, a way to help women find that same spark. I’ve studied, I’ve learned from the best, and I’m still learning every day. But now, I get to share what I know with my community helping women feel stronger, more confident, and maybe even a little addicted to that “good kind of pain.”

Because fitness isn’t just about how you look, it’s about how you feel, how you move, and how you carry yourself in life. And I can’t wait to help you discover that for yourself.
